Description:
Our client a local and successful butchery company are seeking a skilled Butcher to join their team in preparing high-quality meats for their customer base.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation and a keen eye for detail. If you have experience in butchery and are committed to upholding food safety standards, we would like to hear from you.
Responsibilities/Duties (not limited to):
* Prepare and portion meat products
* Cut, trim, and bone carcass sections or prime cuts
* Ensure all meats are handled and stored correctly to maintain freshness
* Operate butchery equipment such as knives, saws, mincers, and slicers
* Maintain a clean and organised work area
Qualifications:
* Proven experience as a Butcher food production setting
* Knowledge of culinary techniques and food safety regulations
* Strong attention to detail and excellent hand-eye coordination
* Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
* Good physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy loads
* Certificate or qualification in butchery is desirable
The Benefits:
* Weekly pay
* Salary of £13.60 per hour
* 41 hours per week
* Working Monday to Thursday 06:30 - 16:00 and Fridays 06:30 - 14:00
* Due to the location candidates would need own transport
