Job Description:

As the Business Unit Leader, you will play a pivotal role in driving the company's growth and success within the media and entertainment sector. You will be responsible for leading a dynamic management team, developing strategic initiatives, and fostering key relationships with customers and partners. Additionally, you will oversee operational activities to ensure optimal performance and alignment with company objectives. This position values expertise in DAM (Digital Asset Management) technology and a deep understanding of the media landscape.

Role profile:

Strategy

Hire, professionally develop, and retain a high-quality, high-intensity, high-integrity management team that is market current, technically, commercially and project management strong to deliver a sustainably growing level of business results;

Working with the management team and internal and external stakeholders, develop a long-range company vision and mission, and systematic business and product evolution roadmap to achieve it;

Develop clear business plans, priorities and forecasts, and ensure short-range forecasts (net revenue and EBITA) are delivered +/- 5%;

Evolve business processes, systems and policies to ensure scalability, the availability of timely data to make the best business decisions, and to comply with regulations and corporate governance requirements.

Operations

Develop and oversee win-win relationships with key customers and partners to maximize long-term commercial success for all parties and to find creative solutions to problems as they occur along the way;

Ensure alignment of each functional departments’ ratio with targets and professionally develop each functional executive to embrace and best practices.

Ensure a strong talent management process is adopted to attract and retain talent, ensure strong employee engagement, put in place succession plans to manage risks, embrace scalability, and harvest up-and-coming talent;

Tracking & reporting – conduct weekly, monthly and quarterly meetings to promote teamwork, align on priorities, and strive for strong ongoing performance improvement and forecasting accuracy;

Provide quarterly analysis of ongoing business performance (aligned with the group best-practices across all functional disciplines).

Takes the lead across all aspects of the company by reviewing how departments work together to reach company goals and by coming up with fresh ideas that will set the company apart from competitors

Builds a positive and productive culture in the workplace by listening to employee opinions, adjusting, and recognising the team's accomplishments

Communicates a vision for the company and take steps to make it a reality

Attend management meetings, annual events, and other activities directed by the Group Leader.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Media Management, or related field; MBA preferred.

Proven track record of leadership in the media and entertainment industry, preferably with experience in DAM technology.

Strong strategic planning and business development skills.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities.

Demonstrated proficiency in talent management and team development.

Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex data and drive informed decisions.
