Job Description:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Business Teacher to join our outstanding team. The successful candidate will be passionate about teaching Business Studies and committed to delivering high-quality education that engages and motivates students. You will be responsible for teaching Business Studies to students aged 11-18, covering Key Stages 3, 4, and 5.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and challenging lessons that cater to the diverse needs of students.
Teach Business Studies across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5, ensuring that all students are able to achieve their full potential.
Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of students.
Develop and implement effective teaching strategies and resources to enhance student learning.
Participate in departmental meetings, planning, and professional development activities.
Provide support and guidance to students, fostering a positive learning environment.
Contribute to the wider school community through involvement in extracurricular activities and events.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the curriculum and educational best practices.
Person Specification:

Qualifications:

A recognized teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent).
A degree in Business Studies or a related subject.

Experience:

Proven experience of teaching Business Studies at secondary level, preferably including Key Stage 5.
Experience of using innovative teaching methods to enhance student engagement and achievement.
