TristoneNash have partnered with a highly reputable social housing provider who is recruiting for a Business Systems Analyst.
Location: Devon
Working from Home: Training in the office initially and then primarily working from home
Length of Contract: Permanent
Pay: £40,347 per annum
Working hours/days: 37 per week (usual business hours with flexibility)
Continually improve business applications through configuration changes of applications including access, parameter, code management, mail merge documents and coding in line with business needs; ensuring that all changes are properly documented.
Your duties:
* Understand, document and review business processes acting as a critical friend to business areas in solution design
* Provision of applications support to users including the provision of coaching and informal training for end users
* Engagement with end users and operational managers to understand business requirements
* Facilitate operational process improvement, producing business process maps, and identifying opportunities for efficiency gains through use of operations management best practice and data interrogation
* Identify options for potential solutions and assess them for both technical and business suitability
* Contribute to the planning, management and support of relevant projects, ensuring that projects are delivered using an approved project management methodology (e.g. Prince2)
* Assistance with end user testing
* Investigate support requests relating to business applications, forwarding any confirmed faults to the relevant supplier and providing a responsive service for fault resolution and general advice to end users
* Development of test scripts
An essential requirement for this role is….
* Experience of using Open Housing
* Case management from CDP Software
* Experience of managing or supporting complex system interfaces with an understanding of the linked data structures
* Experience of working for a social housing provider
* Business analysis and/or business process design techniques and methodologies
* Presenting information and facilitating group discussion
* Software implementation, including change management
* Excellent relation management with 3rd parties to ensure successful delivery of service
* Ability to analyse solutions offered and identify potential risks and suitability for use
