Connect2Kent is currently seeking a Business Support Officer to join a temporary on-going assignment for Kent County Council.
Ashford office based
£12.46 per hour
Monday - Friday 08:30-17:00 Job Purpose
Provide an administrative support service to the operations manager and centre, to support the young people residing in the centre.
Duties
Produce all types of word processing.
Act as main point of contact for the unit/section, investigating complex queries and simple complaints.
Develop, maintain and monitor all office systems.
Support the day to day clerical and administrative functions of the team/service.
Arrange and coordinate appointments and meetings on behalf of the line manager and other staff within the unit.
Arrange and coordinate appointments for service users, including booking health appointments and interpreters. Skills/Experience
Strong administration experience
Experience of working within a social care environment.
Ability to take accurate notes and minutes of meetings.
Co-ordination skills
