Business Support Clerk - Belfast City Council (Temporary)
Location: Belfast City Centre
Pay: £13.47 per hour
Duration: Temporary - 12 Weeks (Temporary Cover)
About the Role
Hatched Recruitment Group is recruiting a Business Support Clerk on behalf of Belfast City Council. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong administration and customer service skills to join a busy council team on a temporary basis.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Service
First point of contact for customer queries/complaints via phone and email
Actioning queries and requests from the commercial management inbox
Liaising with operational staff (e.g. missed bin collections)
Processing in-person commercial waste payments
Administration
Setting up and amending customer contracts
Inputting information into the CREST software system
Running reports
Raising customer credits and refunds via SAP
Recording contract amendments in CRM software
Archiving documents
What You'll Need
Public Sector Experience or strong admin experience is preferable
Strong written and oral communication skills
Good customer care skills, with the ability to respond promptly and effectively
Team working skills and the ability to prioritise your own workload
IT skills, including confidence with Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
Work planning skills - able to organise diaries, meetings and deadlines
