RCH are seeking a Business Support Administrator to work at their head office in Ilford, Essex. The role would be supporting the Senior Leadership team with all aspects of data collection, analysis of reports/ data, circulating of information to the care homes. First point of contact for the Head Office team, managing and coordinating external communications.

This role is a multi tasked role for someone with strong organisational skills, computer literate and has a hard working can do attitude.

SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITIES

Collects accurate data and submits information as requested by weekly agency predictions and weekly operations report. Main data categorie

Hours worked by category staffHours worked by Agency Nurses/Carers/Other

Establishes client’s payment record on a monthly basis, prepares and issues invoices/statements to clients.

Record details of new clients and changes to current clients.

Issues orders to local suppliers. Reconciles each invoice with the order and delivery notes prior to passing for payment.

Assists in the review of expenditure against the budget on a regular basis.

Deals with local suppliers as appropriate, to achieve the best value for purchased goods and services. Takes appropriate action where goods and services are not specified.

Staff Management

Retains and ensures that all records in relation to personnel files and staff are up to date and compliant with CQC regulations and RCH standards

Ensure robust recruitment management for all new starters and compliance to meet CQC regulations and RCH standards

Retains records for Disciplinary action taken against staff as necessary, following the homes procedures.

Other

To answer the incoming of telephone calls and communicate effectively.

To understand and apply the Health and Safety at Work Act together with other legislative requirements of the Home.

To be aware of the need to self develop and attend appropriate training courses.

To be aware of the need for confidentiality in all areas of Company and client information.

To attend and minute meetings of both management and general staff gatherings.

Type and circulate internal and external communication.

To retain and file correspondence as necessary
