The School and Role
A large secondary school, based in West Derby, Liverpool, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Business Studies Teacher to join their team. The role involves teaching KS3 and KS4 levels and being part of a highly motivated group of educators. The position is initially starting in September and is ongoing until Christmas 2025, with the possibility of extension to the end of the academic year. As a Business Studies Teacher, you will deliver high-quality instruction in business studies, create an engaging and effective learning environment, develop lesson plans, assess student progress, and contribute to the overall development of the business studies curriculum. The school is an average-sized, Roman Catholic secondary school and sixth form that draws pupils from a wide area, including those facing considerable economic disadvantage. They have a fully inclusive outlook and strive to develop the character of our pupils, offering a wide range of enrichment opportunities both inside and outside the classroom. The school was rated 'Good in all areas' in the latest Ofsted inspection in 2022 and has earned the Healthy Schools Award
Requirements
The desired Teacher will have;
- Hold QTS in the UK
- Experience of working with KS3 and KS4 levels
- Confidence in teaching the current curriculum
- Have, or be prepared to undergo an Enhanced DBS check
