September 2024Connaught Education is working in partnership with one of the foremost independent senior and sixth form schools in London to appoint a Business Studies and Economics Teacher on a permanent basis as of September 2024.
The organisation in question is a prestigious and highly successful coeducational day and boarding school which throughout its' rich history has been the recipient of multiple awards. Situated in the heart of London this is a diverse, international school with pupils from across the world, it is part of a group of three high calibre independent colleges across the UK.
The Business Studies and Economics department is a successful one, it has academic rigour and its results at both Key Stage 4 and 5 are year on year amongst the best in the country. The appointed Business Studies and Economics Teacher will have some of the following responsibilities:
Delivering high quality lessons.
Facilitating the college's goal of high student academic achievement.
Informing parents about student progress.
Engaging in the college's pastoral care for all students in the college.
Engaging in appraisals and reviews and taking part in training and development.The successful Business Studies and Economics Teacher will have a good degree in a relevant subject area and ideally QTS as well as a demonstrable track record of excellent exam results.
