Location: Hybrid/Redditch but ability to work remotely within the Redditch and Bromsgrove areas – flexible with home/ office working

Spinwell is recruiting for a Business Service Engineer for an excellent opportunity within the public sector.
RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE BUSINESS SERVICE ENGINEER
* The Business Service- Engineer will be responsible for the effective management and delivery of cyclical maintenance, service and monitoring of Mechanical and electrical systems to comply with all current statutory regulations and good building maintenance practices
* The Business Service Engineer will be responsible for the effective management and delivery of Mechanical projects on Council managed properties including operation, non-operational buildings, investment land and buildings.
* The Post holder will deliver safe and efficient working environment of Employees, clients, suppliers, contractors and members of the public.
* The post holder will support the Council’s aims in respect of revenue generating development, investment and acquisition.
* To assist with surveys and the production of reports for other services and departments and team records.
SKILLS/EXPERIENCE OF THE BUSINESS SERVICE ENGINEER
* Significant experience within a property environment and working in .a Mechanical Engineering environment on Commercial And Public buildings
* Knowledge of Statutory Legislation, financial and Contractual Regulations
* Experience and knowledge of repairs and maintenance
* Experience and knowledge of historic building repairs and maintenance
* Experience of administration of records management and/or financial systems.
* Demonstrable knowledge of IT packages and web based applications.
* Awareness of Data Protection Act, confidentiality and Freedom of Information.
