Our client, a leading organisation in the dynamic digital publishing sector, is seeking a skilled Project Manager to join their forward-thinking team. With a strong commitment to innovation and expansion, they are looking for a driven individual to lead strategic workflow initiatives across their portfolio.
About the Role:
Based in their London office, with the flexibility of hybrid working, you will be a key member of the Project team, driving the successful delivery of projects that will shape the future of their publishing pipeline. Your responsibilities will include:
* Leading a variety of initiatives, including CRM, across the publishing portfolio.
* Managing and contributing to key publishing business projects, including policy and workflow implementations and digital transformation initiatives.
* Acting as a subject matter expert, providing valuable insights and support to colleagues.
* Developing and delivering business projects within agreed timeframes.
* Creating project plans with clear milestones and governance structures, ensuring transparency and understanding among stakeholders.
* Collaborating closely with implementation teams to ensure solutions meet business needs.
* Monitoring project impact and providing comprehensive reporting and analysis.
* Communicating effectively with stakeholders, keeping them informed of progress, risks, and issues.
* Adapting to changes that may affect project delivery.
* Providing project-level reporting across all initiatives.
* Building strong relationships with key stakeholders in other internal divisions.
About You:
You are an experienced Project Manager with a proven track record of delivering complex business projects. You have a global perspective and are comfortable working with stakeholders from diverse backgrounds. Ideally, you will also have:
* An understanding of the research publishing landscape.
* Experience in technology and workflow transitions in a commercial environment - including CRM
* Strong negotiation skills and experience integrating customer and operational requirements.
* Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma methodologies.
In addition, you possess excellent organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills. You are proficient in Excel and PowerPoint and have a proactive approach to project leadership. Lean, Six Sigma Certification is a plus.
