Description:
A fantastic opportunity has arisen in South London to manage a new supported living service on an Interim basis for 3- 6 months. The organisation is currently expanding and supports Adults with Learning Disabilities and Mental Health issues.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced Business manager to help make a real difference to the organisation expansion plans. This is an incredible organisation who have great growth opportunities and a fantastic reputation providing quality care for service users.
Responsibilities:
Proactively identify and pursue new client referrals to maximise occupancy across all properties, with a target of 90%+ occupancy
Build and maintain strong relationships with Surrey and West Sussex Integrated Care Boards (ICBs), local authority commissioning and placement teams, and social workers
Attend multi-disciplinary team (MDT) meetings, provider forums, and community events to raise the profile of AM2PM
Develop and maintain a live referral pipeline and vacancy management tracker
Lead on the marketing and presentation of available placements to commissioners and referrers
Liaise with NHS discharge teams, community mental health teams, housing associations, and other relevant agencies
Explore and develop opportunities for placements via statutory and NHS commissioning routes
Support the setup and promotion of new properties, including the forthcoming Banstead site
Prepare and submit tender responses and expressions of interest to commissioning bodies as required
Requirements:
Minimum 3 years’ experience in a business development, commissioning, or senior operational role within the social care or supported living sector
Demonstrable track record of securing referrals and filling vacancies in a supported living or similar care setting
Sound working knowledge of CQC regulations, the Health and Social Care Act 2008, and associated standards
Experience of working with local authority commissioning teams, ICBs, or NHS discharge teams
NVQ/QCF Level 5 in Health & Social Care (Leadership & Management) or equivalent — or working towardsBenefits:
