Description:
We are seeking a dedicated Business Improvement & Compliance Engineer. The ideal candidate will bring a background in quality management, compliance, or Six Sigma/Lean principles.
Key Responsibilities:
Root Cause Analysis: Investigate audit findings, quality escapes, non-conformances, Maintenance Occurrence Reports, and safety reports.
Corrective Actions: Collaborate with stakeholders to define and implement corrective actions, and measure their success to ensure compliance.
Health and Safety Standards: Uphold and enforce health, safety, and regulatory standards.
Training Programs: Develop competency and training programs for the Operations team to optimize capabilities in line with business needs.
Process Improvement: Implement process improvements and workplace standardization following 5S standards.
Knowledge and Skills:
Essential:
Proficiency in English at a negotiation level.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to identify root causes using data.
Excellent skills in G Suite applications.
Structured and proactive approach to work.
Ability to simplify complex business processes and communicate them effectively.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a team-oriented mindset.
Experience in a highly regulated industry such as nuclear, defense, airline, or healthcare.
Understanding of Safety Management Systems and Quality Management Systems.
Strong program management skills.
Experience in leading or participating in root cause analysis investigations.
Education, Qualifications, or Training:
Essential:
Degree-level qualification in engineering, aerospace, or operations management.
Desirable:
Working knowledge of EASA, CAA, or equivalent Part 145 and Part CAMO regulations.
Six Sigma Green or Black Belt, or equivalent qualification
