Job Title: Business Tutor (Part Time)
Location: Centre based
Salary: up to £40,000 PRO RATA to 15 hours (Depending on skills and experience)
Type: Part time role for 15 hours per week. (Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 12-5pm)
Essential Criteria:
* Hold a teaching qualification – level 4 or above
* Experience of delivering vocational training – and ideally experience of teaching or assessing Business Enterprise or similar.
* Hold a Business-related qualification or similar
* Confident and comfortable to deliver training/workshops to small groups of learners.
* Must be IT Literate.
Duties include:
* Deliver the SFEDI Business Course to small groups of learners who are looking to develop their Business/Self Employment skills, knowledge and behaviours.
* Ensure sessions are motivating, engaging and develop learners' skills knowledge and behaviours
* Monitor student attendance and progress through regular student assessment and reviews.
* Provide advice and guidance to learners relating to decision making and progression.
* Embedding of Maths and English into sessions.
* Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner’s needs.
