About the Role

We’re looking for a motivated, commercially minded and proactive Business Development Strategist to join our small and friendly team at Emma’s Country Cakes.

This is an exciting part-time opportunity for someone who is passionate about business growth, enjoys finding new opportunities and has the drive to turn ideas into tangible results.

You’ll play an important role in helping us grow our customer base, explore new markets and develop new routes to market. The role will have a strong focus on new business development, sales growth, customer acquisition and identifying opportunities to increase revenue.

We’re looking for someone who is highly organised and computer literate, confident using social media and comfortable researching, communicating and building strong relationships with potential customers and business partners.

You’ll need to be a strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills, highly self-motivated, commercially aware and able to work independently while taking ownership of your role.

Role Purpose

To identify, develop and convert new sales opportunities for Emma’s Country Cakes, creating and implementing commercially focused strategies that increase revenue, expand our customer base and open new sales channels.

You’ll have the opportunity to make a genuine commercial impact within a growing, independent business, with the freedom to bring fresh ideas, identify new opportunities and develop innovative approaches to business growth.
