Farm Tech Supplies are seeking to recruit a Business Development/Sales Executive to join our team based in Alton. You will join us on a full-time, permanent basis and in return, you will receive a competitive salary of £28,000 - £32,000 per annum plus bonus and benefits.

Farm Tech Supplies Ltd was founded in 2011 to supply small farm equipment to local smallholders and hobby farmers. Now firmly established as the leading UK supplier of compact tractor attachments, we have an extensive nationwide network of agricultural dealers.
About the role:
We are looking for someone with a pro-active approach to maximising sales and building relationships with new and existing B2B Agricultural Dealers and retail customers. The ideal candidate is ambitious, customer-oriented, and thrives in a performance-driven environment.
Responsibilities as our Business Development Executive will include:
Answering customer enquiries by phone, email or face-to-face
Assisting the sales team with processing sales orders
Updating stock profiles on the various sales outlets
Booking delivery options for sales orders and tracking deliveries
Timely follow up of customer enquiries using appropriate communication channels.
Identifying and evaluating new business opportunities to expand customer base and revenue streams.
Assisting with the promotion of the company's offerings to prospective customers to ensure a consistent and professional image.
Monitoring competitor activities and gather information to remain market leaders.
Regularly updating and maintaining the customer database to ensure accuracy and relevance.
Participation in industry events and functions for networking and effective representation of the company
Assisting the marketing team with mailshots and email newsletters
What we’re looking for in our Business Development Executive:
Enthusiastic about excellence in sales and customer service. Ideally with some initial expeirence
An effective communicator and calm under pressure
A self-starter approaching challenges with motivation and focus
Accurate and willing to learn
Flexible in approach to work and with a helpful attitude
IT literate
Current driving licence
An interest in agriculture would be preferable
