Business Development & Marketing Manager

Salary: £45,000 + Monthly Commission Bonus
Location: Castleford / Hybrid

D7 Recruitment is looking for a commercially driven Business Development & Marketing Manager to support the continued growth of the business.

Your focus will be on generating new business opportunities, securing new recruitment vacancies and increasing D7’s visibility in the market.

You’ll have clear targets, but the freedom to develop your own approach and build relationships in a way that reflects D7’s values.

The Role

D7 Recruitment is a specialist, values-led recruitment business focused on Health & Safety and related professional recruitment.

As Business Development & Marketing Manager, you will take ownership of new business generation and D7’s marketing activity, working closely with the recruitment team to create opportunities for them to deliver.

Key Responsibilities

* Identify and target new potential clients across D7’s specialist markets.

* Proactively contact new businesses through telephone, email and LinkedIn.

* Build and develop relationships with prospective clients.

* Generate new recruitment opportunities and convert them into live vacancies.

* Maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.

* Understand client requirements and identify opportunities for D7 to add value.

* Record and maintain business development activity within Bullhorn.

* Develop and maintain D7’s Business Development Strategy.

* Develop and maintain D7’s Marketing Strategy.

* Manage and grow D7’s LinkedIn presence.

* Create engaging content to increase D7’s visibility and brand awareness.

* Produce regular content for the D7 website.

* Maintain website content and ensure vacancies are kept up to date.

* Monitor website performance and identify areas for improvement.

* Support marketing activity designed to generate new business.

* Attend face-to-face client meetings and networking events.

* Research target markets, businesses and potential opportunities.

* Identify new channels for generating recruitment business.

* Work closely with the recruitment team to understand market requirements.

* Ensure new vacancies are suitable for the recruitment team to deliver.

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone who is commercially minded, confident approaching new businesses and motivated by measurable results.

Recruitment experience would be beneficial, but strong business development, sales or marketing experience will also be considered.

Most importantly, you’ll be comfortable picking up the phone, starting conversations, building relationships and turning those conversations into genuine commercial opportunities.

This is a role for someone who enjoys autonomy, takes ownership and wants to have a direct impact on the growth of a specialist recruitment business.
