Our client is a growing Managed Service Provider delivering IT support, cloud solutions, cyber security, communications, hardware/software procurement and consultancy services to businesses across the UK. They pride themselves on building long-term customer relationships through responsiveness, transparency and a proactive approach to supporting their customers’ technology needs.

The Role

The company is looking for a confident, professional and commercially minded Business Manager to help grow their customer base and develop new business opportunities. This is a relationship-focused role suited to someone with strong people skills, a consultative approach and the ability to engage confidently with business owners and decision-makers. Previous experience within Managed Services or IT is not essential. The business is more interested in attitude, communication skills and the ability to build trust with customers. A background in software or SaaS sales would be beneficial, but certainly not required.

Key Responsibilities

* Identify and develop new business opportunities

* Build relationships with prospective and existing customers

* Arrange and attend meetings, calls and networking opportunities

* Understand customer challenges and introduce suitable solutions

* Work closely with technical teams to help shape proposals and quotations

* Maintain an organised sales pipeline and follow-up process

* Represent the company professionally at all times

* Support ongoing account development and customer retention

* Help generate opportunities across IT support, cloud services, cyber security, communications and hardware/software solutions

Ideal Candidate

This role would suit someone who enjoys meeting people, building relationships and helping businesses solve problems. You may already work in sales, recruitment, telecoms, software, customer success or another client-facing commercial role and be looking to move into the technology sector. Experience is welcome, but personality, professionalism and drive are what matter most
