Commercial Recruitment is seeking a driven individual to join our team as a Business Development Manager specialising in Health Insurance. This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to organize work effectively. The successful candidate will generate new growth opportunities, convert warm leads, and manage key business relationships across our broker panel. You will engage in business discussions with prospects and clients, strengthening relationships and winning new business. Comprehensive product training will be provided.

**Main Responsibilities of the Role:**

- Increase sales by generating leads and securing new business.
- Develop business relationships with existing customers and clients.
- Utilize all market channels to generate sales, building contacts and enhancing relationships with businesses, introducers, affiliates (Opt-Ins), specialist healthcare brokers, general brokers, and IFAs.
- Promote Healthcare Trusts by contacting businesses, associations, and sporting clubs.
- Execute a sales program through verbal, written, and face-to-face communications.
- Convert enquiries into sales to actively grow the business in line with targets.
- Support and train Affiliates and Brokers in accordance with FCA requirements.
- Assist in the development of new products and services.
- Document procedures to ensure compliance with current FCA regulations.

**Responsibilities Include:**

- Effectively manage appointments and meetings to negotiate and build relationships with new and existing brokers and direct customers.
- Meet sales targets set by the Sales Manager.
- Travel as required to meet with potential and existing customers, affiliates, or brokers.
- Regularly review performance with customers, affiliates, or brokers, and document the information obtained.
- Develop and agree on suitable marketing campaigns with the Sales Manager.
- Adhere to FCA guidelines comprehensively.
- Understand the interlinking functions of the role and its benefits to other company roles.
- Stay informed of industry changes and competitor products.
- Work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Assist with various reporting tasks, administration, and projects while maintaining confidentiality.
