Business Development Manager {Freight-Forwarding}

£60,000 - £70,000 (OTE £80,000 - £90,000) + Car Allowance + Progression + Training + Company Benefits + Healthcare + 32 Days Holidays

100% Remote (UK Travel)

Are you a Business Development Manager from a freight forwarding background, looking to work for a £100 million revenue business and employ over 700 staff?

The role is completely autonomous allowing you to manage your diary as you see fit.

In this role the successful Business Development Manager will be responsible for actively sourcing new business and helping to develop other business activities within the company with the objective of increasing revenue and improving profitability. Your role is imperative to building new business relationships that will ultimately lead to the expansion of the business globally.

The Role:

Develop and grow new customer accounts by ensuring all business opportunities have been explored.
Build new client relationships to help expand the business
Autonomously choosing areas to target and managing your diary
Taking ownership and developing business's relationship while ensuring they are receiving the high level of service expected.The Person:

Proven successful business development/sales within Freight Forwarding etc
