Business Development Manager - Northern Ireland - Fasteners
Location: Home-based, covering Northern Ireland
Salary: £50,000 basic + 15% target bonus
Benefits: Company car or car allowance
An established engineering and manufacturing business is seeking a Business Development Manager to grow its customer base across Northern Ireland. This is a field-based role combining new business development with the management and growth of existing accounts.
Responsibilities
Identify and win new B2B customers
Develop existing accounts and increase customer spend
Conduct regular customer meetings and quarterly business reviews
Identify and progress new commercial opportunities
Build stronger links between customers, Internal Sales and Customer Service
Independently manage territory planning and customer visits
Requirements
B2B sales experience within manufacturing, engineering or industrial products
Fastener industry experience would be advantageous but is not essential
Comfortable balancing account management with new business development
Strong commercial awareness, resilience and relationship-building skills
Able to work autonomously in a home-based, field sales position
Based in Northern Ireland with the flexibility to cover the territory
The successful candidate will typically spend three days per week visiting customers, with the remaining time dedicated to administration and territory planning.
Full training, coaching and support will be provided.
