Job Title: Business Development Manager  (Fabrication)

Location: Nottingham (field)

Salary + Benefits: £30,000 - £40,000

Sector: Metal / Fabrication

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Development Manager for our client. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining strong client relationships, and driving growth within the metal fabrication sector.

A strong understanding of powder coating processes and applications will be a significant advantage.

Key Responsibilities:  

Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the metal fabrication industry.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure repeat business and customer satisfaction.
Collaborate with the technical and production teams to develop proposals that meet client needs and specifications.
Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
Prepare and present sales proposals, contracts, and quotations.
Achieve and exceed sales targets and business growth objectives.
Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to promote our client and their services.
Provide feedback to the management team on market trends, client requirements, and potential areas for business improvement.

About You:

Proven experience as a Business Development Manager or similar role in the metal fabrication industry.
Knowledge of powder coating processes and applications is highly desirable.
Strong sales and negotiation skills with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders at all levels.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Self-motivated with a proactive approach to identifying and pursuing business opportunities.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
