Are you a Business Development Manager, Regional Sales Manager, Area Sales Manager or Technical Sales professional with experience selling into the Food & Beverage, Food Manufacturing, FMCG or Process Manufacturing sectors?
Consulo are proud recruitment partners with a leading international manufacturer of engineered products and solutions used extensively across food production, processing, packaging and automated manufacturing environments.
Due to continued growth across the UK, the business is looking to appoint a Business Development Manager to develop its presence throughout the Midlands.
This is a field-based commercial role combining new business development, account management and strategic customer growth. You will work directly with food manufacturers, production facilities, engineering teams, OEMs, machine builders and other industrial customers across the region.
The Role
• Develop new business opportunities throughout the Midlands
• Manage and grow an established portfolio of customers and key accounts
• Build relationships with Food & Beverage and FMCG manufacturers
• Engage with Engineering Managers, Production Managers, Maintenance Managers, Operations Managers, Procurement and senior decision-makers
• Identify opportunities across production, processing, packaging and automation applications
• Develop relationships with OEMs, machine builders and manufacturing partners
• Conduct customer visits, site surveys and technical/commercial discussions
• Prepare quotations, proposals and commercial agreements
• Manage the complete sales cycle from prospecting and lead generation through to negotiation and order
• Work closely with internal technical and customer support teams
• Build a strong pipeline of new business opportunities across the territory
About You
We are interested in speaking with commercially driven field sales professionals who have experience selling products, components, equipment, machinery, engineering solutions or technical services into manufacturing environments.
