About the Role
An excellent opportunity exists for a proactive Business Development Manager to join this national provider of fire and security solutions. This role focuses on driving new business and nurturing an existing portfolio of accounts across the M4 corridor, with a particular focus on Greater London.

You will be responsible for selling both fire and security products, covering maintenance contracts, service agreements, and small works projects - providing essential protection services to a diverse commercial client base.

Key Responsibilities (including but not limited to):

Proactively hunt for and secure new business opportunities within your M4 corridor / Greater London territory.

Manage and develop an existing book of client accounts, ensuring high retention and identifying growth opportunities.

Sell fire and security maintenance contracts, service agreements, and small works projects.

Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients and key specifiers.

Develop a robust pipeline and manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to close.

Represent the company professionally in the field and contribute to team goals.

Work collaboratively with operational teams to ensure smooth project handover and delivery.

Requirements

Proven track record in a Business Development Manager or sales role, ideally within the fire, security, or building services sectors.

Experience selling to the SME market is highly advantageous.

Strong understanding of service and maintenance contracts, alongside project-based small works.

Demonstrable ability in both new business development and account management.

Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.

Self-motivated, organised, and driven to meet and exceed sales targets.

Full, valid UK driving licence.

Willingness to travel across the M4 corridor and Greater London, with occasional visits to the Chippenham office.
