Business Development / Account Manager

ASR International is partnering with a fantastic market-leading manufacturer of bathroom products and accessories. Due to an internal promotion, we have a key role for a Business Development / Account Manager to take over one of the most successful areas within the business (Birmingham to South Wales).

About the role:

In this Business Development / Account Manager role, you will be responsible for driving sales through social housing and new build projects across a range of sectors, including housing associations, independent and national merchants, contractors, and the adaptations care market. You will manage a portfolio of approximately 100 active accounts, with a 70/30 split between managing existing clients and developing new business opportunities. This region is one of the top performing in the business with some fantastic key accounts that helps generate £2.5m pa.

What you will do:

* Build and develop strong relationships with clients across the social housing and new build sectors.

* Secure new business and grow existing accounts through effective account management strategies.

* Provide expert product and specification advice to clients.

* Identify and pursue regional sales opportunities.

* Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the social housing and new build markets.

Who you are:

* You have a proven track record of success in field sales, ideally within the social housing or a related sector.

* You have a strong understanding of the social housing and new build procurement processes.

* You are an excellent communicator with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients.

* You are a highly motivated and results-oriented individual with a strong work ethic.

* You are comfortable working independently and as part of a team.

* A competitive basic salary of up to £45,000 + choice of car inc Hybrid / EV

* A generous and uncapped bonus scheme with a realistic OTE of £15,000-£20,000.

Previous experience in the bathroom sector is not essential.

We are keen to hear from candidates from a variety of backgrounds, including plumbing & heating, electrical, and construction.
