Business Development Manager – Bristol
Salary: Negotiable
Job Description:
* Through new and ongoing relationship building, keep abreast of current trends within the energy and environmental markets (e.g. Nuclear, Oil & Gas, Renewables, Water Treatment, etc)
* Identify new market opportunities and profile customer needs, from which to develop new sales campaigns and value propositions.
* Develop a strategic approach to grow our business in the energy and environmental industries.
* Develop and maintain Business Plans for established clients and capture plans for new clients.
* Create sales presentation material as well as contribute to new service introduction initiatives.
* Support the promotion of the brand through digital means and attend key industry events.
* Lobby decision-makers to penetrate new markets.
* Drive market and competitive analysis
* Answer bids and support deal closure.
Responsibilities:
* Growing and developing our future client accounts by designing your business plan and strategy with the British engineering market.
* Creating new business leads through networking and closing business with key customers.
* Participating in the recruitment of our new consultants.
The ideal candidate will possess a curiosity for the Engineering sector, with a result-oriented and entrepreneurial mindset. They will be comfortable working in an international and fast paced environment.
* You think strategically and work well under tight deadlines.
* You have excellent communication and can navigate multi-level organisations.
* Ideally, you have experience in complex product sales or consulting services.
* Ideally, you have experience in managing relationships with external stakeholders (customers, suppliers or partners).
* Previous experience in business development or key account management would be beneficial.
Experience required:
* Bachelors or master's degree in Engineering, Management or Business administration.
* Significant industrial experience in a relevant industry, such as Nuclear, Oil & Gas, Renewables, Water Treatment, etc.
* Demonstrable experience in leading teams and performing business development activities.
* Being result oriented, having an entrepreneurial mindset, strong communication skills and natural leadership is crucial
