Business Development Manager
Scotland East
Up to £40,000 + Uncapped Bonus + Car Allowance

A growing provider of technology-led site security solutions is looking to appoint a Business Development Manager to support continued expansion across Scotland.

This is a field-based role focused on developing relationships within the construction, infrastructure, utilities and related sectors, offering a consultative solution-led approach to protecting sites, assets and projects.

The business has experienced significant growth across the UK and is continuing to invest heavily in both people and technology, making this an excellent opportunity for an ambitious sales professional looking to join a fast-moving and progressive organisation.

The Role

You will be responsible for generating new business opportunities and developing existing client relationships across your region, working closely with operational and delivery teams to ensure a high level of service throughout the customer journey.

The role will involve:

• Identifying and securing new business opportunities across East Scotland
• Managing the full sales cycle from lead generation through to close
• Building relationships with contractors, developers, infrastructure providers and facilities-related businesses
• Conducting client meetings, site visits and solution presentations
• Developing strategic relationships with both new and existing accounts
• Working closely with internal operations teams to support successful project delivery
• Maintaining accurate pipeline and sales activity reporting

What We’re Looking For

We are keen to speak with candidates who have experience within:

• Construction sales
• Hire industry sales
• Security or electronic security sales
• Facilities Management or related service sectors
• Site-based solution selling environments

Successful applicants will typically demonstrate:

• A strong new business and relationship-led sales approach
• Experience operating in a field-based BDM role
• The ability to manage a regional territory independently
• Confidence engaging with stakeholders across multiple levels
• Commercial awareness and a proactive mindset
• Full UK driving licence
