Location: UK Nationwide (Field Based)
Salary: £50,000-£55,000 Basic + Uncapped Commission + Company Car

The Opportunity

We are recruiting for an experienced Business Development Manager to join a well-established and growing packaging business. This is a national field-based role focused on developing new business opportunities and growing relationships with customers across a range of industrial sectors.

This is an excellent opportunity for a driven sales professional with a proven background in the packaging industry who enjoys winning new business and building long-term customer partnerships.

Key Responsibilities

Develop new business opportunities across the UK.
Identify and convert new customers within target markets.
Manage the full sales process from prospecting through to order completion.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers.
Prepare quotations, negotiate commercial agreements and close sales.
Work closely with internal teams to deliver tailored packaging solutions.
Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and CRM system.
Attend customer meetings, site visits and industry exhibitions.

Requirements

Previous business development or sales experience within the packaging industry is essential.
Proven track record of generating and winning new business.
Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills.
Ability to manage a national sales territory independently.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
Full UK driving licence.
