A Business Development Manager opportunity has become available, offering a salary of between £45,000 - £53,000 plus a competitive benefits package including company car, annual bonus structure, 30 days annual leave increasing to 33 days after 5 days of service, company pension contribution and more!
This is an exciting opportunity for a Business Development Manager to drive business growth by developing new customer relationships, supporting key accounts, and building strategic partnerships. You will play a key role in expanding market presence and delivering hygiene solutions across Scotland and the North of England.
Roles and responsibilities of Business Development Manager:
Drive new business development by identifying opportunities, securing new contracts, and delivering sustainable sales growth.
Build and manage a strong sales pipeline, ensuring consistent follow-up and accurate forecasting.
Develop tailored, and competitive proposals and lead tender submissions to win new business.
Build lasting relationships with customers and stakeholders, delivering presentations and influencing decision-makers at all levels.
Work with colleagues to maximise business opportunities, retain key accounts, and deliver a positive customer experience.
Stay informed on market trends and competitor activity to identify growth opportunities and support strategic business objectives.Experience and Qualifications required from Business Development Manager :
Proven success in business development, account management, or sales within the Professional Hygiene or On Premises Laundry (OPL) sector.
Commercially minded, with the ability to identify market opportunities, understand customer requirements, and deliver against sales objectives.
Strong relationship building, negotiation, and communication skills, with the confidence to engage stakeholders at all levels.
