Responsibilities:
* Secure new business deals across various sectors, including corporate events, special occasions, and room bookings.
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to maximize revenue generation.
* Assist the Sales & Marketing Manager with generating insightful reports.
* Conduct regular sales calls and site visits to build and strengthen client relationships.
* Analyse competitor activity and stay informed about market trends.
* Collaborate with the Sales & Marketing team to develop and execute strategic sales and marketing plans.
* Manage client data and ensure accurate record-keeping within the CRM system.
* Participate actively in all sales activities, including research, phone calls, client entertainment, and promotional events.
* Be flexible and adaptable to support different departments within the hotel when needed.
Qualifications:
* Minimum 3 years of experience in business development or a similar role within the hospitality industry.
* Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
* A warm, welcoming, and professional demeanour.
* The ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively as part of a team.
