Location: Remote (Based anywhere in England, with once a month in office)

Job Description

As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for managing your sales pipeline, generating leads, and delivering exceptional performance. You will play a crucial role in expanding our customer base, cross-selling and up-selling our product portfolio, and presenting business updates to management.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage your sales pipeline and utilize the CRM effectively.

- Generate appointments through referrals, cold calling, and booking your own leads, as well as handling appointments set by our Telesales team.

- Achieve performance targets consistently.

- Identify opportunities for cross-selling and up-selling additional products.

- Present business performance and updates to management on a weekly basis.

Day-to-Day Activities

You will receive high-quality leads and detailed customer data, ensuring that the customer is ready to accept appointments. You will schedule and conduct appointments, both virtual (Teams) and face-to-face, if local. Managing the sales cycle from start to finish is crucial, and maintaining accurate data in our Salesforce CRM is essential.

Requirements

- At least 2 years of new business and hosted sales experience, specifically selling products like 8x8 or Callswitch.

- Proven experience in cold calling and self-generating leads.

- Strong track record of closing deals within the telecoms industry, both via Teams and face-to-face.

- Motivated, driven, and culturally aligned with our values (determined, proactive, and not having taken significant time off work).

What We Offer

- Salary: up to 40k depending on experience, plus car allowance.

- Commission: Uncapped OTE (15% of GP Paid in Coms Zero Threshold)

- Flexible working: Primarily work from home with occasional office visits
