£50,000-£60,000 per annum + commission (up to double salary) plus benefits

Our client, a leading player in the packaging industry, is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to join their team. As the Business Development Manager, you will play a pivotal role in identifying new business opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and expanding their market presence.

Key Responsibilities:

- Market Research: Conduct in-depth analysis of market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities.

- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients while actively seeking new partnerships and opportunities.

- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategies to drive business growth, including entering new markets and launching new products.

- Sales Support: Provide support to the sales team by offering insights, resources, and strategies to help achieve targets.

- Networking: Attend industry events, trade shows, and conferences to network with potential clients and industry experts.

- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between business development initiatives and company objectives.

- Performance Analysis: Monitor and analyse key performance indicators to measure the effectiveness of business development strategies.

- Proposal Development: Lead the development of proposals, presentations, and pitches to secure new business opportunities.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred).

- Proven experience in business development, sales, or a related role within the packaging industry.

- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and market trends.

- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
