Business Development Manager - New Business 

Remote with weekly client and new business visits 

£40,000 - £50,000  plus uncapped commission and car allowance 

The Opportunity 

We are recruiting for an innovative client who are launching their presence in the UK. Your opportunity is to be the first person on the ground and help drive the company success and development within their sector. You will start your journey with a week in Melbourne, Australia meeting the founder and the rest of the team and really immersing yourself in the company and their brand. 

As the company grows, so can you with management opportunities for the right candidate. 

Our client provides innovative thermal protection solutions for the global pharmaceutical industry to manage risks and temperature sensitive products. A candidate with previous experience working in the cold chain industries would be preferred.  

Your Responsibilities  

Nurture and maintain relationships with existing clients and suppliers, optimising client satisfaction and maximising business opportunities.  

Develop new clients and sales channels.  

Maintain up to date client database with comprehensive client history compiled.  

Succeed in achieving/exceeding mutually agreed targets.  

Promote and market products, ensuring customer feedback listened to and acted upon.  

Continuous market research.  

Represent the company at trade shows and various events to market product and develop new relationships.  

Travel to potential clients and supplies as needed to promote the company.  

Your Skills and Experience  

5+ years account management or business development experience.  

Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to develop relationships.  

Results driven. Must be self-motivated and hungry to develop and win business.  

Knowledge of cold chain industry is advantageous.  

Previous experience working within distribution would be preferred 

Full driving licence essential.  

CRM experience preferred
