Description:

We are recruiting for a Business Development Manager to join our client in Totton, this is a straight permanent position offering a salary of up to £40,000 DOE 

Your main responsibility will be to identify, develop and successfully close sales opportunities, you will be maintaining and building existing customer relationships as well as coordinating sales operations and implementing techniques to achieve and surpass targets. 

The duties and responsibilities for this Business Development Manager role will be: 

Create a sustainable sales strategy for the business
Prepare quotes and estimate for new and existing customers.
Provide accurate forecasting of financial performance of accounts
Plan, monitor and report sales and deliver against specified sales and profit targets.
Provide customer and market insight into the business 
Build and maintain excellent business relationships with new and existing customers, suppliers and industry representatives.
Provide regular reports into the General Manager
Contribute to effective Marketing Plans
Recommend and report on new processes, customers and markets.
Resolve customer complaints where necessary
Any other relevant, reasonable ad hoc duties that may be requested.Requirements to be considered for this Business Development Manager role:

Highly motivated self starter
Ability to set and achieve goals, long and short term. 
Strong key account management skills demonstrated in previous experience within a goods or service sales industry
Ability to confidently deliver briefings to senior stakeholders 
Proven ability to develop strong relationshipsThe salary is up to £40,000 + bonuses, this is a full time permanent position that is office based.
