Vacancy: Business Development Manager
Location: Peterborough and surrounding areas
Industry: Electrical products
Working hours: Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5pm - no weekends
Salary: up to circa £55K neg depending on experience + bonuses + company car or car allowance

We are looking for an ambitious Business Development Manager to join our growing team and help expand our presence across the the contractor and installer market.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone with industry knowledge, strong commercial awareness, and a proactive approach to winning new business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and grow sales within the electrical contractor and installer markets.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, ensuring repeat business and loyalty.
• Promote leading brands and solutions across our product portfolio.
• Work closely with internal sales and branch teams to maximise opportunities.
• Deliver sales presentations, product demonstrations, and customer meetings.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer requirements.
• Achieve and exceed agreed sales and margin targets.

What We’re Looking For:

• Proven experience in electrical product sales is essential
• Strong network within the industry would be advantageous.
• Self-motivated, target-driven, and commercially minded.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to manage your own diary and work independently.
• Full UK driving licence.
