Business Development Manager – Print & Digital Transformation

Location: Pride Park, Derby (Hybrid: 3 Days Office / 2 Days Remote)

Salary: £30,000 – £35,000 basic DOE + Uncapped Bonus | OTE £65,000

Working Hours: Monday – Friday | Choice of 8:00am–4:00pm or 9:00am–5:00pm

As commercial organisations increasingly modernise their infrastructure, our client is expanding its reach within the dynamic print sector. This role is designed for a high-performing sales specialist with proven experience in the print sector who thrives on prospecting, winning high-value B2B contracts, and driving market growth.

Key Responsibilities

New Business Acquisition: Identify, target, and convert prospective enterprise accounts, offering expertise tailored to the evolving print sector.

*

Solution-Based Consultative Selling: Consult with commercial decision-makers to deliver managed print, document workflow, and digital transformation technologies.

*

Pipeline & CRM Management: Maintain an active sales pipeline within Salesforce, ensuring accurate forecasting and structured lead tracking.

*

Client Presentations & Meetings: Conduct high-impact discovery meetings and pitches, showcasing how innovation in the print sector streamlines client operations.

*

Target Execution: Consistently hit and exceed revenue targets through proactive prospecting and strategic relationship building.

Essential Criteria

To excel in this position, you must have a strong background in business development and specialized familiarity with the print sector.

Industry Experience: Minimum 18 months of proven sales experience within the print sector.

*

Proven B2B Sales Track Record: Demonstrated success in lead generation, consultative negotiation, and closing commercial deals.

*

CRM Expertise: Daily operational proficiency using Salesforce.

*

Mobility: Full UK driving licence for client site visits across the region.

*

Mindset: A highly self-motivated, target-driven professional with exceptional communication and negotiation skills.

What We Offer

Competitive Financial Rewards: £30,000–£35,000 base salary with an uncapped commission structure driving realistic OTE earnings of £65,000.

Hybrid Working Model: Office-based 3 days a week (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday) in Pride Park, with remote working on Monday & Friday.
