Business Development Manager - Pharmaceuticals
CY Partners are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to join a rapidly growing, research focused Chemical Manufacturer based in the North East.
The ideal candidate will have experience in Business Development within the Life Science/Chemical industries. The territory will cover the UK and EU so occasional travel will be expected.
Responsibilities:
Identify and develop new client relationships
Generate and progress leads
Conduct market research and identify potential new clients
Leading on marketing function via 3rd party
Identify and capitalise on trends in the market
Prepare and deliver presentations to prospective clients
Maintain CRM system and monitor performance of campaigns
Manage website leads
Requirements:
Proven experience in sales/BD in the Pharmaceuticals/Life Science/Chemical industry.
Excellent interpersonal, organisational and communication skills
Ability to assess clients’ needs and provide appropriate solutions
Ability to work independently, as well as in a team environment
Excellent problem-solving and decision making abilities
