We're working with a fantastic, established textile manufacturer in Greater Manchester, looking to strengthen their commercial team with an ambitious and driven Business Development Manager.
We've partnered with this business for over 10 years and know their team incredibly well. They're a talented, high-performing bunch of sales professionals who are commercially sharp, ambitious and genuinely down to earth. We're looking for someone who shares that same energy!
About the Job

Drive new business growth across UK and international markets.
*
Identify and develop opportunities within their industrial sectors.
*
Build strong, lasting relationships with new and existing customers.
*
Research emerging markets, spot commercial opportunities and develop strategies to capitalise on them.
*
Work closely with R&D to bring innovative products and solutions to market.
*
Represent the business at industry exhibitions, trade shows and customer meetings.
*
Report directly to the Sales Director, playing a key role in the company's continued growth.
About You

A proven Business Development Manager with a genuine passion for winning new business.
*
Ideally experienced within textiles, technical fabrics or a related technical manufacturing sector.
*
Commercially astute, proactive and confident opening doors and developing opportunities.
*
A natural relationship builder who can engage with customers at all levels.
*
A real go-getter! Ambitious, focussed and motivated by results.
*
Equally important, you're grounded, personable, collaborative and a genuine team player.
*
Someone who enjoys being part of a successful team but can also make things happen independently.
