Business Development Manager – Commercial Vehicles
Location: Central Belt of Scotland – Glasgow, Edinburgh and Dundee
Salary: £50,000 per annum + commission (structure to be confirmed)

We’re recruiting a Business Development Manager on behalf of a growing commercial vehicle business providing vehicle sales, distribution, parts and aftersales support across the UK.
This regional position will focus on growing the business’s presence across the Central Belt of Scotland, winning new business, developing existing accounts and building relationships with fleet operators and transport businesses.
Key responsibilities:

Identify and secure new business opportunities across the region.

Build and develop relationships with fleet customers and commercial vehicle operators.
*
Grow existing accounts, identifying opportunities for further vehicle sales.
*
Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable vehicle solutions.
*
Prepare quotations, negotiate terms and manage the sales process.
*
Work closely with parts and aftersales teams to support customers.
*
Maintain an active sales pipeline and monitor market activity and competitors.
What we’re looking for:
*
Previous sales or business development experience within commercial vehicles, including trucks, vans or HGVs.
*
A proven track record of winning new business and developing customer accounts.
*
Experience selling to fleet operators or transport businesses.
*
Strong communication, relationship-building and negotiation skills.
*
A proactive approach to prospecting and managing a sales pipeline.
*
Parts or aftersales experience would be advantageous.
