Role Description:

Bridge Recruitment are delighted to be networking for a Business Development Manager on behalf of our client, a leading services provider in the UK, focusing on helping clients achieve their potential through skilled and knowledgeable personnel. The company operates specialist divisions including Security & FM, Logistics and Principle Demolition. These divisions offer a comprehensive range of services including security, cleaning, facilities management, construction logistics and demolition. As Business Development Manager, you will be a part of the company's most recent division, identifying new business opportunities and prospects within Contract Cleaning. As this client covers multiple services, there is also an opportunity to cross-sell. The ideal Business Development Manager will have proven experience in a similar role, and will be proactive, responsible and have excellent negotiation skills. Responsibilities:

Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and client prospects

Analyse industry trends, market dynamics and competitor activities to inform strategic planning

*

Identify and approach potential clients, building a robust pipeline of business prospects

*

Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients

*

Act as the primary point of contact for key accounts, ensuring client satisfaction and addressing any issues promptly

*

Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve business growth targets

*

Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals to potential clients

*

Negotiate contracts and agreements to secure new business

*

Work closely with the recruitment and operations teams to ensure seamless service delivery

*

Lead and mentor junior business development staff, fostering a high-performance culture

*

Collaborate with marketing to develop promotional materials and campaigns that support business development efforts

*

Monitor and report on sales performance metrics, providing regular updates to senior management

*

Use CRM tools to track client interactions, sales activities and pipeline status

*

Prepare detailed reports on business development activities, outcomes and future plans

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or a related field

*

Proven experience in business development, sales or a similar role within the facilities or security industry

*

Strong understanding of the industry and its needs

*

Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills

*

Ability to build and maintain professional relationships with clients and stakeholders

*

Strategic thinker with strong analytical skills and attention to detail

*

Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite

*

Self-motivated, with a results-oriented mindset and the ability to work independently
