Business Development Manager Surrey £40,000 - £45,000 Bonus Benefits
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a technically minded Business Development & Delivery Manager to join an innovative manufacturing and technology business with a strong international presence.
This role offers the chance to combine business development, account management and project delivery within a technically advanced environment. Working closely with engineering, manufacturing and commercial teams, you will play a key role in driving growth, managing customer relationships and delivering high-value projects from concept through to production.
The RoleKey responsibilities include:
Managing and developing existing customer accounts to generate repeat business.
Identifying and securing new commercial opportunities across manufacturing, engineering and technology sectors.
Leading customer projects through the delivery lifecycle, ensuring successful outcomes.
Working closely with design, purchasing, finance and sales teams to coordinate project execution.
Conducting market research and competitor analysis to identify growth opportunities.
Developing data-driven business development strategies and sales plans.
Attending industry events, trade shows and customer meetings in the UK and internationally.
Producing regular business performance and pipeline reports for senior leadership.About YouWe're keen to speak with candidates who possess:
Experience within business development, technical sales, account management or a customer-facing manufacturing environment.
A strong understanding of engineering or manufacturing processes.
Excellent relationship-building and stakeholder management skills.
Commercial awareness combined with a proactive, self-starting approach.
Strong organisational and project coordination abilities.
Experience using CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications.
A technical qualification or degree in an engineering-related discipline would be advantageous.
