Northeast, Northwest, Scotland, and Ireland
Salary £48,000 plus bonus and car

We are partnering with the NMBS to recruit a Business Development Manager.
This area has been looked after for more than a decade; the area has become available due to retirement.

NMBS has been helping to strengthen independent merchants and distributors for over 60 years, they have a turnover of over 2 billion and 1250 merchant members and 450 supplier which are increasing year on year.

Many of the internal and external sales teams have over 10 years of service within the business.

The new Business Development Manager will report to the Head of Sales & Marketing and be supported by a dedicated internal sales team that offers customer service support and new business development.

The role of the Business Development Manager will include the following;

Support and develop engagement and spend on 400-plus accounts – 100-plus smaller accounts supported by internal sales staff

Targeted on bringing on new merchant accounts

Explain the benefits of NMBS membership

Targeted on 3 calls a day that are planned in advance

Monday to Thursday on the road and an admin day on a Friday

Your admin day is used to book appointments, plan agendas and analyse member data

To apply for the role of Business Development Manager you will be able to say yes to the following:

Experience in external sales from within the building materials sector

Happy to cover a large area and stay away from home when necessary

You will have a consultative sales approach and find building relationships easy

Your skillset will allow you to analyse data and find areas for growth in your accounts

You will have a good level of IT and have experience using a CRM system

You will be based centrally on the patch

This role is exclusive to Stirling Warrington and any 3rd party approaches or direct applications will be forwarded to Stirling Warrington.
