Business Development Executive

Description:

Job Purpose

* Build strong relationships with employers and external partners.
* Create new business opportunities, promote services and help meet income targets.
* Support students by helping arrange relevant placements and employer-led career opportunities.

Main Duties

* Contact new employers to promote training, apprenticeships and placement opportunities.
* Manage existing employer relationships and identify opportunities to offer extra services.
* Work with teaching teams to find suitable placement opportunities for students.
* Arrange employer activities such as careers talks, masterclasses, interview practice and virtual work experience.
* Make sure placements have proper supervision and meet health and safety requirements.
* Keep CRM records, sales activity, placement details and employer updates accurate.

Requirements

* Experience in business development, sales, employer engagement or a similar role.
* Confident working with employers, clients and wider stakeholders.
* Knowledge on how to build professional relationships.
* Able to give clear and consistent guidance to employers, students, parents and staff.
* Full clean driving licence and willingness to travel when required.
