2020 Recruitment are delighted to be working with a well-established construction and manufacturing company who are looking to appoint a Business Development Executive.
This newly created position offers an exciting opportunity for an ambitious sales professional to take ownership of the full business development cycle, building relationships, developing opportunities and increasing market presence across Scotland.
Working alongside a strong internal marketing team and external agency support, you will manage warm leads, generate new business opportunities and build relationships with existing as well as new clients and markets.
This is a hands-on, customer-facing role and is not a call centre or office-based sales position. You will spend your time meeting customers, attending visits and becoming a key part of the business by delivering an exceptional customer experience and driving future growth.
Requirements
To be considered for the Business Development Executive position you will ideally have:
• Previous experience within business development, sales or account management.
• Experience selling a premium product or service within the construction or manufacturing sector would be advantageous.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• A confident and professional approach with customers.
• Strong negotiation and influencing skills.
• The ability to work autonomously and manage your own pipeline.
• A proactive and self-motivated approach.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Right to work in the UK.
