Pin Point Recruitment have the pleasure of working with a leading logistics company and are currently recruiting a Business Development Executive to join their team in Newcastle-under-Lyme, Staffordshire.
This position requires you to have experience within national logistics, ideally from parcel, haulage or pallet networks.
The candidate will need to be able to demonstrate previous experience within this capacity (working within a similar logistics-based sales environment, with a minimum of 2 years’ experience), being able to provide an overview of their previous achievements.
Experience in all modes of warehousing and logistics would be advantageous but not essential.
Duties will include:
* Identifying new business opportunities, converting into delivered sales
* Developing current customer accounts, ensuring everyone is up to date with the offerings of the business
* Negotiation of contracts
* Working closely with the operations team to identify key areas for sales based on operational strengths
* Manage, maintain and grow our customer pipeline/CRM
* Ensuring a smooth onboarding process from start to finish with new customers, with a comprehensive handover to the operational/CS teams.
You will possess or be able to demonstrate the following:
* Experience in working sales within the Transport sector
* Professional and proactive individual able to impress in a short timeframe Excellent communication skill both written and verbal
* Excellent organisational & timekeeping skills High level of IT, numeracy and literacy skills
Schedule:
* 8-hour shift
* Monday to Friday
