Description:
A leading Engineering company specializing in Electrical & Instrumentation services across various sectors including Oil & Gas, Power & Infrastructure, Industrial, and Commercial. With a reputation for excellence in Engineering, Construction, Commissioning, and Maintenance services as looking for a new Business Development Director to come on board as the are seeking to expand their operations in the UK & Europe.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead business development efforts in the UK & Europe, identifying and pursuing new opportunities for growth and expansion.
* Develop and implement strategic plans to penetrate target markets and industries.
* Build and maintain relationships with key clients, stakeholders, and industry partners.
* Drive revenue growth through effective sales strategies and initiatives.
* Provide leadership and direction to the business development team, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
* Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to capitalize on emerging opportunities.
Qualifications & Requirements:
* A relevant degree in Construction, Engineering, or equivalent experience within the Electrical Construction industry.
* Proven track record of success in previous Business Development roles at a senior level.
* Strong commercial acumen with the ability to understand and negotiate complex contracts.
* Technical expertise in Electrical & Instrumentation services preferred.
* Comprehensive knowledge of the UK Construction industry and market dynamics.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to travel within the UK & Europe as required
