Business Development Director – Security Guarding Services

Location: London / Hybrid

Salary: £80-£110,000 Basic (Dependent upon experience and results) + Commission + Car Allowance + Benefits

We are seeking an ambitious, commercially astute, and results-driven Business Development Director to play a pivotal role in the continued growth of our Security Guarding client.

This is a strategic and hands-on leadership role, responsible for identifying, developing, and securing new business opportunities across the UK. The successful candidate will drive sustainable revenue growth, strengthen the market position, and help shape the future direction of the company's commercial strategy.

The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record of winning high-value security guarding contracts, managing complex tender processes, and building long-term relationships with senior decision-makers across corporate and/or retail sectors.

Key Responsibilities

* Strategic Commercial strategy and Business Development

* Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve ambitious growth targets and year-on-year revenue increases.

* Identify, qualify and secure new business opportunities across targeted sectors and geographic regions.

* Lead the development of innovative commercial strategies that strengthen the company's position as a premium security solutions provider.

* Continuously assess market trends, competitor activity and emerging opportunities to inform business development initiatives.

* Build, maintain and actively manage a robust and sustainable sales pipeline.

* Personally manage and convert high-value strategic opportunities.

* Maintain an accurate and up-to-date CRM database, ensuring effective pipeline visibility and forecasting.

* Produce compelling sales presentations and commercial proposals tailored to client requirements.

* Present bids confidently and professionally to prospective clients and procurement stakeholders.

Requirements

* Proven track record of winning significant manned guarding/security services contracts.

* Strong understanding of the UK security guarding marketplace.

* Strong commercial acumen with the ability to negotiate and close high-value contracts.

* Exceptional presentation, communication and stakeholder management skills.

* Experience working collaboratively with operational and support teams.

* CRM proficiency and strong pipeline management capability.

* Full UK driving licence.
