As Business Development Director, you will lead growth and expansion. Your primary focus will be identifying new business opportunities, building, nurturing client relationships, and leading on sales.
In your first few weeks in this Business Development Director role, you can expect to:
Work closely with the Mechanical, Electrical and Automation (MEA) directors and in conjunction with other Group Companies and colleagues to develop opportunities
Achieve revenue and opportunity conversion aspirations in line with customer development plans
Develop strategic relationships to grow MEA business streams, as well as opportunities
Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, opportunities, and potential clients
Stay abreast of industry developments, competitor activities, and emerging technologies

Proven experience in business development, preferably within the MEA industry sectors
Proven record of being highly commercial and results-focused, with a creative and innovative approach
Full understanding and proven ability to enhance revenue, margins, and operating profit to meet near-term and long-term goals
Ability and experience in operating within MEA engineering services business
