Polypipe Civils & Green Urbanisation design, develop and manufacture thermoplastic piping systems for civils and infrastructure projects with the industry’s widest choice of water management, surface water drainage, sewer and cable protection systems.

The role:

Reporting directly to the BDC Supervisor, Supporting the external Technical sales managers to deliver a credible and professional service to internal and external customers.

Responsible for managing incoming sales opportunities and tracking them across the different stages to order placement. Focus on delivering remarkable customer experience through this process. Ensuring every interaction is efficient and consistent.

Working hours:

Monday to Friday, 08:30 - 17:00.

This is fixed term 12 months maternity cover role

Key Accountabilities:

* Coordinate all enquiries received for your designated area, capitalise each opportunity by offering the full sales package and ensure all enquiries pass through the order process efficiently.

* Increasing profitability of the business through generation and follow up of enquiries, building relationships with customers and ensuring pricing is maximized and accurate.

* liaison with the external sales teams, including monthly meetings with assigned Technical Sales Managers.

* Actively manage individuals online managed log of sales opportunities.

* Pro-actively follow up and win orders to a set target, meet/exceed targets and KPI’s set.

* Build positive relationships with both internal and external customers.

* Process customer orders within the individual's region, Liaise with transport, provide customers with a start to end project journey.

* Develop and maintain a managed log of potential order opportunities.

The person:

* Customer focused.

* Previous internal sales experience.

* Proven experience of relationship building desirable but not essential.

* Product knowledge desirable but not essential.

* Attention to detail.

* Ability to establish excellent working relationships with colleagues

* Work as part of a team and contribute to business objectives.

* Good at Prioritise and multitask daily duties.
