Description:

Jonathan Lee is helping an energy company based in the Newton Abbott area with the hiring of a SQL Systems Analyst. This is a support focused role where you will also be helping with the dleivery of projects to help maintain and enhance the ERP system

As the SQL Systems Analyst, you will be part of the IT running, maintaining and upgrading the Infor based ERP system across the business. You will also maintain the other software systems used in the business. The role will be to best try and understand the fundamentals of the core Business Systems and the likely impact they may have on people and processes

To give you an idea of how this role would look and feel, here are some of the things you could expect to do:

Take on projects that will involve balancing day to day support with project objectives.
To support the day to day running of reporting systems and Business Intelligence.
Understand the fundamentals of the core Business Systems and the likely impact they may have on people and processes.
Able to work and cooperate within a small team to achieve the team and company objectives. To prioritise work inside the scope of the department working practices.
Liaising and being able to communicate to internal colleagues and external suppliers. Demonstrate a willingness to consider new ways of approaching solutions.
Applicsnts to the role are expected to have knowledge and experience with the below:

SQL Server / SSRS, crystal reports
Analyse and solve and seek solutions to problems in an efficient manor while keeping to the processes and procedures of the department
Take on projects that will involve balancing day-to-day support with project objectives
Support the day to day running of reporting systems and Business Intelligence.
To apply for this role, you will need to be familiar with visualised environments and their operation and maintenance. You will also require extensive knowledge of the Microsoft office family of software and their backend server technology. In addition, you should be able to analyse and solve and seek solutions to problems in an efficient manor, while keeping to the processes and procedures of the department.
